Organized by the Zero Carbon Center (ITM), an online workshop on the Secondary Market in the Energy Efficiency Commitment Scheme - 1 will be held.
By amending the Energy Efficiency Act, the Goverment established the basic statutory rules of the Energy Efficiency Scheme (EKR) in Hungary from 1 January 2021. The EEOS obliges energy traders to make investments in energy savings or certified savings from other companies making investments on the secondary market, in proportion to their past sales, to an increasing extent by 2030.
Zero Carbon Center (ITM) provides support to the stakeholders of the EEOS system (ITM, Energy Office, obligors, supply-side actors of the energy efficiency market) in finalizing the framework conditions of this significant market, which promises hundreds of billions of forints in investments in the period 2020-2030. It does so by conducting a workshop on topics developed in close co-operation with ITM's professional leadership on climate policy.
The date of the first workshop discussion: April 7, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
