In the context of the Cybersecurity Act, we held a professional workshop on 17 June 2024 together with our supporting member DLA Piper on the current tasks, during which we provided insights into the provisions of the new Cybersecurity Act to the executives of energy companies. Under the Cybersecurity Act, which transposes the NIS2 Directive on measures to ensure a uniform high level of cybersecurity throughout the EU, relevant organisations have until 30 June to apply for registration. The participants of the hybrid event were welcomed by Dr. Márton Hidvégi, Chairman of the Legal Committee of MEKSZ, followed by a presentation by Dr. Gábor Simon and Zoltán Kozma from DLA Piper on the most important legal requirements affecting the energy sector.
We thank DLA Piper for the organisation.
